Peugeot is the French car manufacturer subsidiary of the Stellantis group since 2021. The family business that preceded the current Peugeot company was founded in 18103 when the family factory in Hérimoncourt was transformed into a steelworks. The different branches of the family will begin a very diversified production, but all the products will be steel-based (tools, springs, frames, corset frames, coffee grinders, clocks, bicycles, etc.) From 1886, Armand Peugeot begins to be interested in steel cars. In 18963, he founded the "Société anonyme des automobiles Peugeot"4. At the same time, his nephews Pierre, Robert and Jules launched the production cycle in 1897 under the name "Les fils de Peugeot frères" and produced their first car in 1906.
